Who is Rex Carlin?
Most importantly, I'm a Washington State Cougar, an alum of the Murrow College of Communication. My media experience includes television, radio and print news reporting, television and radio play-by-play, podcasting, producing and all the "little things" a multimedia journalist has to do on a daily basis such as shooting and editing.
I most previously worked as a multimedia journalist/reporter at KNDU, the NBC affiliate in Tri-Cities, WA. Prior to that stop, I served in the same role at KTMF, the ABC affiliate in Missoula, MT. My proudest moment in television news is linked further on this page: While I was in Tri-Cities, I broke a story about twins who were adopted out of China by separate American families as infants. Neither twin nor family knew the other existed until more than a decade later. I shot this story, which quickly went national across multiple networks. ABC invited both families to New York and the twins met each other in person live on Good Morning America.
